In seeking to achieve its purpose Telcare Ltd takes the safety and welfare of its employees very seriously. We are committed to ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business including our supply chain. This statement has been made during the financial year ending September 2018. 

Due Diligence

Telcare Ltd has assessed the risk associated with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 relating to its own business and that of its supply chain.

Telcare Ltd conducts business within the UK, which according to the Global Slavery Index is a low risk jurisdiction where slavery and human trafficking is prohibited and criminalised by law. All employees are employed on written terms and have a right to terminate their contract. Employees are paid at least the National Living Wage as well as receiving other benefits.

Telcare Ltd has contacted its key suppliers and assessed their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Telcare Ltd is satisfied that the risk factor regarding slavery and human trafficking within its supply chain is considered low.

Future Steps

In order to adhere to the above-mentioned intentions, Telcare Ltd will:

  • Provide a respectful working environment, maintaining integrity at its core.
  • Provide employees with the opportunity for discussion and encourage them to raise any concerns about slavery or human trafficking to the management.
  • Ensure that this statement is reviewed annually to ensure it remains appropriate to the nature of our organisation.

This statement is made pursuant to s.54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending Sept 2018.

Telcare keep the information you provide us as confidential and confirm it will be used solely for the purpose for which the data was collected.

Access to, the retention and disposal of this information will be strictly in accordance with the latest data protection requirements.

The type of information we collect will be:

  • Contact details for the delivery of service, invoicing and payment collection.
  • Necessary information as to the set up and configuration of your telephone system for the purposes of installation and maintenance.

Your data will not be passed on for marketing purposes.

Newsletters will not be sent to you. All news and updates will be posted to the blog section of our website for viewing should you so wish.
We will be happy to discuss the data we keep, however, please be advised that proof of identity will be necessary for specific details.

The new GDP regulations state that customers have to give consent for the processing of their data, therefore from May 25th 2018, customers will be asked for their consent via an opting in process.
