With the Cornavirus taking a hold on the world and a barrage of information being thrown at us it really is difficult to know what is going to happen and when. What we do know though is that we need to prepare.

Keeping everyone informed is key, so if you need to add a special Coronavirus announcement to your greeting list, draft it now and get it recorded ready for when it’s needed.

Diverts are probably going to be the way you can keep your business operational when staff are working from home.

It will save time now if you draw up a list of mobile numbers that you want to divert your business numbers to.

Act now to save time. We can set up diverts by pre-programming information now.  It will then cut down the setting up time when the diverts are needed to go live. The reality is when the Government makes a decision as to the next stage, everyone will be leaping into action at the same time. We will then have to work on a first come first serve basis.

Use available (free) technology to stay in touch with your staff whilst they are working from home. Set up groups using apps like WhatsApp to keep connected. 

Consider your responsibilities. It maybe that by working from home your staff will become ‘Lone Workers’. Refer to your company policies or guidelines for the correct procedures to follow.
